Can I apply heat to my extensions?

Yes! At Heat Free Hair, we specialize in versatility! Occasional use of low to moderate levels of heat can be applied to your extensions while maintaining the texture.
To experience the full performance of our extensions, please remember the following:
- We create our textures using a steam process, flat ironing or silk pressing any of the wavy, curly, or kinky textures may compromise the integrity of the texture. For a silky straight/flat ironed look, we recommend our Blow Out or Silk Press Collections.
- Starting with clean and moisturized extensions will yield the best results when blow drying the hair.
- Using a heat protectant can help protect the extensions from damage.
After heat styling, to bring back the natural texture of your extensions, use the following style guide:
- Drench your hair in hot water to release the thermal style.
- Clarify with Fresh Kept Secret Shampoo.
- Moisturize and hydrate with New Condition Conditioner. Then use our HD Curlbrush to detangle and watch your curls reemerge.
- Once fully washed and detangled; use the styling products in our Perfect Extensions Kit that is specified for your texture. Our Curl Whipped Curl Defining Mousse is recommended for ultra-defined curls and coils.

Our extensions can be successfully heat styled, however, Heat Free Hair is not responsible for any damage to hair quality or texture once heat styled. Once extensions are heat styled, we can not guarantee performance or longevity. We are unable to accept any returns or exchanges on hair extensions as a result of heat processing.
