How do I curl wand my extensions?

Are you looking to create glamorous, cascading curls? You certainly can occasionally use heat to style our kinky/curly textures! Our hair is manufactured to revert to its original curl pattern after washing and conditioning. However, please keep in mind that our virgin hair is just as susceptible to heat damage and loss of curl pattern as your natural hair is.

We always recommend that you take proper precautions before styling the hair, like ensuring the hair is properly moisturized and using a leave-in conditioner and heat protectant. Also, you minimize excessive exposure to heat-styling tools to avoid damaging the manufactured curl pattern.

If you decide to curl your textured extensions with a curling iron or wand, we recommend that you take proper precautions before styling the hair.

1. For best results, your hair should be freshly washed and blowed dried before curling.

2. Ensure the hair is properly moisturized and use a leave-in conditioner and heat protectant.

3. Work in sections, and wrap the hair around the barrel of the heat tool. When your desired curl pattern is achieved, slide the hair out to release the curl. For longer-lasting curls, you can pin your hair to allow the curls to cool.

4. After curling is completed, style your hair as desired.
