How often do I need to wash my extensions?

You have a routine for everything else in your life. Why leave your extensions out? If you want hair (and endless compliments) that last, then protecting your investment with good extensions care is the natural next step after getting good extensions.

How Often?: It is recommended to wash and condition your extensions at least every 1-1.5 weeks. However, if you find that there is a significant amount of product buildup that makes it difficult to style your hair, then it may be necessary to wash them sooner. Additionally, if you lead an active lifestyle and sweat frequently, you may want to consider washing your extensions more regularly to prevent tangling.

Detangling: The most important thing to consider when deciding your wash routine is your detangling routine. Detangling is needed to prevent long-term tangling and matting. To get the best results, deep detangling should be done when the hair is fully saturated with water and conditioner, and in small sections.

Recommended Products: The use of a clarifying shampoo and hydrating conditioner are necessary for a successful wash day and to keep your straight extensions soft and sleek!
